Napoli are not the only team to lose in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals.
At least they won’t be the only one to suffer a second defeat after losing 2-1 to Celta Vigo on Saturday.
The hosts had gone on to beat Celta 1-0 at the Santiago Bernabeu.
The match started with a goal by Marco Fabi, who scored the second of the match to send Napoli into a 5-1 lead.
Fabi also made it 2-0 after a penalty and an own goal.
Celta had the last laugh in the first half with a late penalty but did not score again until the 74th minute.
Fabio scored twice in the second half, but his penalty was saved by the keeper.
The win gives Napoli the best record in the competition.
Napoli’s opponents have been given a two-match suspension.
